Sunday Scribblings #237 - Harvest

Click here for more Sunday Scribblings.  I'm not a poet.  This is my first attempt at Haiku.  So, constructive criticism is welcome.

Farmer's out till dark.
Wagons filled with dusty corn.
Folks sneezing, achoo!

I love harvest time.  It reminds of of all those fun trips to the elevator with my uncle.  He would always buy my brother and me a pop to drink while we waiting in a long line of wagons.  Unfortunately, now I suffer from allergies, which are raging right now.

Hi Betty - I don't know much about Haiku but I know I enjoyed your piece..it is a really warm and tender look at harvest..as if you've actually known a farmer who sneezes! Thanks as ever for your visit..Jae

Wonderful haiku, as with everything in life it is always up to interpretation but you did an excellent job in my eyes! Farmers sneezing, great visual!

Wonderfully described, all the way down the shaft to the achoo....

Tis the harvest of the season.

Such a lovely Haiku. Simplicity is the nature and you have done that so very well.
